Metallizing Coatings for Grip and Feed Rolls using Plasma and Thermal Spraying Processes

Metallizing

Industrial Grinding Inc. specializes in metallizing grip and feed rolls used for gripping and feeding stock in the printing, food processing, as well as machine tool building sectors. Through plasma coating or thermal spraying, we refurbish feed rollers in accordance with your custom factory specifications.

Our metallized feed rollers, finished to surface roughness from 150 to 300 Ra, will ensure friction-less, smooth product transfer. We are equipped with an extensive range of plasma and thermal spraying units for metallizing feed rollers made from various materials including tungsten carbide and molybdenum.

These metallizing machines can handle rolls up to 150″ in length and 40″ in width. Your custom grip and feed rolls are metallized to the tightest tolerance of +/- 0.0002″. Our normal turnaround ranges from 1 to 2 days for all national deliveries.
