Surface Grinding
Our extensive surface grinding capabilities enable us to produce precision ground die plates, molds, as well as fabrications used for stamping and pressing. Bolster plates, surface plates, and welded fabrications are other surface ground parts we offer. Typical materials that we work with include aluminum, brass, copper, 400 series stainless steel, and a variety of tool steels. We can hold flatness tolerances within 0.0005″ TIR. Industrial Grinding Inc.‘s precision grinding machines can process parts up to 160″ in length, 60″ in width, and 8,000 lbs in weight. These surface grinders enable us to restore damaged components back to their original factory dimensions with fine surface finishes.
